Casinacho Games: a week with the pocket arcade bundle
I installed Casinacho Games expecting to bounce off it in ten minutes, and instead it quietly became my waiting-room game for a whole week. The idea is simple: one app, a grid of tiny arcade challenges, each one a self-contained burst of reflex play. You tap in, beat your score, tap out.
The reaction runs are my favourite. A shape appears, you swipe the matching direction, and the pace ramps until you fumble. It sounds basic on paper, but the timing window is tuned well enough that every failure felt like my fault, which is exactly what a good arcade game should do.
Control-wise it is all one hand, which matters when you are actually standing on a train. Nothing lives in a screen corner you cannot reach. The menu loads fast and jumps you straight back into the last mode, so there is no friction between attempts.
My only wish is for a couple more mini-games in the mix, because I cleared through the current set quicker than I wanted. Still, for a free pocket arcade it delivers. If you like chasing your own high score in short bursts, give it a few evenings.
Tip from us: start with the timing modes before the puzzle boards. They warm up your reflexes and make the harder rounds feel much fairer.
